About
Thirty years inside car rental. Now on the customer's side.
Brett Gould, founder
I began my career answering phones at a car rental reservations desk and spent the next three decades working across nearly every part of the business: reservations, pricing, operations, customer service, supplier relationships, distribution, market development, and product development.
Much of my career focused on international car rental, particularly serving North American travelers renting vehicles in Europe. That gave me deep experience in pricing, distribution, product development, and the inner workings of how car rental moves through suppliers, brokers, travel agents, partners, and other distribution channels before it ever reaches the customer.
Over many years, I was fortunate to take on increasing responsibility for significant parts of the business and to participate closely in its growth and evolution. Just as importantly, I gained the kind of practical knowledge that comes from seeing the industry from many different angles: commercial, operational, and customer-facing.
Later, through Nifti Mobility Group, I broadened that experience further by working with and developing relationships across the global car rental industry, from smaller independent operators to large international rental companies. That exposure gave me an even wider view of how differently the business operates across markets, where common challenges exist, and where better approaches are possible.
Along the way, I also worked closely with the technology behind the business and became increasingly interested in how new technologies, data, and automation could help improve an industry that still relies heavily on systems and processes developed for a different era.
Nifti Mobility Group brings those experiences together.
It's built on thirty years of understanding how car rental actually works: the people, the economics, the distribution, the operations, and the customer experience, combined with a belief that technology can help the industry work better.
My perspective comes from spending three decades inside the business, understanding how the pieces connect, and recognizing where there are opportunities to improve them.
